Mindfulness is being fully aware of the present and experiencing the joy of 'Now'. Mindfulness helps build empathy and increases compassion for others and oneself.
We all know helping others is a good deed. When we share our things, lend a helping hand, the person at the receiving end benefits and becomes happy.
What about the feelings of the helper himself/herself?
Times are brutally hard, but it is not all bad. Tough times bring out something positive in each one of us.
