Festival of South Asian Children's Content
The Festival of South Asian Children's Content 2018 event by ‘Toka Box’ was a great initiative.
The event was organized to bring together like-minded creators in the South Asian Children’s Content space.
In addition to offering a networking event for the local talented authors, the event successfully reached out to the larger community to spread awareness about quality content that is available.
It was a great moment of pride and joy to be part of the Bay Area author showcase at the Dublin Library, and address our local communities.
Diane deLara, Dublin library’s librarian, had worked relentlessly to organize this community event as part of the library’s celebration of Indie Author Day.
During the first hour, we did short readings from our work and the second hour got busy with book signing and community building.
I enjoyed meeting with revered authors, sharing ideas, and exchanging information.
I thank our patrons from the community, and it was a pleasure interacting with the families that visited the library.
